This small republic in the very heart of the continent is the youngest region of the nearly 12 centuries existing Czech state. Furthermore, it calls successfully the attention of the whole European Union to itself.
Looking down the sky both Bohemian regions Bohemia and Moravia could be compared with a left and a right hand. The left hand -Bohemia -has been protected since centuries from the storms of the North and the attacks of enemies by the huge border mountains and hills inmidst the Moldavia River and above all the low–lying areas of the River Elbe.
The right hand –Moravia- is open to the sun of the South, which warms up the vineyards and plum-tree plantations in the Moravian-Slovak border region.
